Political ISMS Senior Thesis Book

My senior thesis in Graphic Design: a 60-page book about different political ideologies and systems (“isms”) with text taken from different political zines. The front and back covers were created by crumpling and uncrumpling paper; Capitalism spreads were created with collages of blown up U.S. currency; Fascism spreads were created using blown up newspaper evoking news propaganda; Socialism was created with blown up red fabric in reference to the solid red flag of Socialism; and Anarchism was created with blown up pages of low laserjet printer toner. With inspiration from pop art, this project involved a lot of research, hands on work — such as cutting individual letters out of fabric with an X-acto knife — and high res scanning at 5000ppi with minor adjustments to get the perfect frame.
