TA Streets for People Award 2019: Families for Safe Streets

Transportation Alternatives honors someone with the Streets for People Award each year at their annual benefit. The recipient here was Families for Safe Streets. We chose to use the shape of a yield sign to evoke street safety. From preliminary sketch to execution, I art directed and project managed these awards in collaboration with Glasso Group. The large award was totally custom which required glass cutting by the fabricator. The information and award names were laser-engraved onto the award and onto individual candle holders for each member of the group. The last image is my “idea” sketch.
